My computer crashed, and since then, I haven’t been able to print documents from my laptop. It use to do it, but not anymore. The only other way to print out documents is by taking a floppy-disc or jump-drive, saving the document in it, and opening it up onto the computer in the computer room, but the jump-drive is lost at the moment. Is there any program or something that I can download or anything that’ll make it work again?

There is no any other way else this that you have share your printer with that laptop. But sharing can be done only when it is connected to your computer.

I am remodeling my current home and can’t decide if I want a small computer room or convert into a large storage closet. What do you think you would prefer? Which would add the most value to my home?

In our home, In our computer room we have a closet that has diffrent shelves and its quite large. I use that for storage + computer supplies..

What I would do is make a computer room and make a large closet with shelving and diffrent things in it.

The manufacturer is happy to remove these products from their shelves at discounted rates for two reasons. The second reason is that, by carefully choosing reputable partners for their secondary market programs, they able to satisfy existing customers without compromising their ability to attract new customers in the primary market. Once the reselling partner has purchased directly from the manufacturer, it will then offer the existing technologies to enterprises and individuals, usually for lower prices than it was originally sold for at retail outlets, or even by the manufacturer, itself. This enables IT users to purchase discontinued replacement parts, upgrades and even accessories long after the products have been removed from the primary market shelves. The leading and most reputable resellers will often have a huge and diverse inventory of discounted products acquired from most, if not all, of the major computer equipment manufacturers. As an added bonus, because the focus of these resellers is not to sell only the “latest and greatest” in technological equipment, they seem to have a certain determination to find the perfect fit for an organization or individual.

There are technology resellers within the secondary market that will offer worldwide online customer service and support, 24 hours per day, seven days per week. These resellers are working with the original equipment manufacturers and will help to reduce the costs of a typical IT infrastructure. With a commitment to technology platform maintenance and longevity, they will often advise and provide perfectly suited solutions to an organization’s unique needs and system requirements. They may also be able to assist with leasing options or other considerations as manufacturers are not the only organizations that resellers may work with to provide all encompassing solutions for their customers.

With such short lifecycles attached to computer technology products, it is only logical that so many organizations and individuals are now turning towards computer secondary market providers and partners to help alleviate this problem.

It is a small room , we put a computer desk/shelf combo, added a small loveseat,a filing cabinet to hold , and going today to buy another entertainment center .

(we are removing the kids border of course)

(the one we have is too large, and the t.v. is old,,and we don’t use the reference books , and the kids never play the games, nor watch the movies….)

So, I want to make this room,,,more updated, w/ a warm feeling.

I thought about a different taupe that is on it now,,

I want to make it comfy w/out having a theme per say..

I thought about adding palm tree decor but will that go out of style soon?

Should I flow my living room decor into this room? ( tuscany style/ slate tables, iron decor)

Peanut butter color is warm and rich not being too dark. Fake plants are becoming passe. I wouldnt put a palm tree in there.

A trading room is an area that is specifically set aside and equipped for your trading.  This article is about how you can setup your own trading room.

One day I went inside a bank’s trading room.  They had specially designed desks to hold trading screens.  They had special telephone systems and direct data feeds.  Everything was designed to make it as easy as possible for the traders to work.

You don’t need to go to the same extent, but your equipment and working environment shouldn’t hold you back either.  It is difficult to trade properly if your computer struggles with the data, or constantly crashes, or your connection keeps dropping out, or if your work area is hot, cold or dusty. 

Ideally you should have an area set aside specifically for trading.  It may be a study or home office.  It shouldn’t be a children’s play area or in a busy passageway.  It needs to be comfortable and well lit and equipped with power sockets to keep all wires neat and orderly, not all tangled.

You need a comfortable ergonomic chair, and plenty of desk space, with all the equipment you need to hand.  There should be storage areas so that you can put away items that you are not using to keep it uncluttered.

A computer is essential for trading.  You need a system that is as fast and new as possible.  The cut down budget computer won’t be enough.  You need a lot of memory, a big hard drive to store historical data, a fast CPU to help with your backtesting, and a large display screen.  You should consider dual monitors to extend your on screen work area.

The current generation of notebook computers are a good option, provided you buy one with enough power.  The benefit is that if you want to travel, you can take your trading platform with you.  You’ll need to setup your trading platform, together with other packages you may need such MetaTrader or Excel.

You don’t need to buy a Windows PC.  A Mac can run all Windows trading software using virtualisation.  Just remember to install plenty of memory.  A Mac can also run any web based or Java based trading platforms.

The computer should ideally be kept for trading.  If you have other people playing games on it, installing and uninstalling software, it will make your trading platform less stable.  If other people are using your trading computer, you will be concerned about your trades, especially if you are relying on automated trading software on the computer.

You’ll need a fast Internet connection.  It should be reliable and stable.  If possible, you should have a backup connection, such as wireless broadband, which you can also use if you are traveling.  If you have power issues in your area, you should have a UPS for both your computer and the Internet connection.

Every great trader has a trading library – you can include it in your trading room.
